Newly furnished room and staff is always extremely friendly and efficient.

Can be described as a really amazing experience, would recomand. Stylish hotel overall, is has excellent service and marvellous location close to all the main attractions in the area. At the main bar they serve great food and drinks.

The location is incredible and wonderful, close to everything including the baths. I have stayed in the guest room with a view.

Really enjoyed the place, had a really great stay on vacation. Our queen room had it's own little balcony, a small fridge and a flat-screen television. The location in a very quiet area was marvellous and stunning. You could walk to supermarkets and shops.

The sauna with lake views was a fantastic way to unwind after a long day. The room was modern and spacious. Plus, amazing views of the lake! The overall cleanliness of the hotel was excellent.

The lava formations were like something out of a fairy tale! The hotel was the perfect retreat after our adventures. Our spacious room was modern, with fluffy bathrobes and a lovely coffee machine for cozy mornings.

My kids wished there were more activities for them to enjoy at the hotel.

Unexpected charm in nature's embrace

Waking up to fine lake views with mountains in the backdrop was a comforting surprise. The on-site sauna with scenic backdrop was a perfect way to unwind after day adventures.

I had a minor issue with the heating system. It was a bit chilly during the night but didn't impact my overall experience too much.

The junior suite offered fine views of lake myvatn and was super comfortable. The breakfast was a highlight, with freshly baked pastries and a wide variety of selections.

bathroom could use better ventilation

The hotel features beautiful Nordic architecture, with spacious lounges and fine views of the surrounding landscape. The staff was helpful.

No simpler menu options at the restaurant.

My stay was fantastic! The location was perfect for visiting major waterfalls and attractions like Husavik. The junior suite was spacious with a long bath and a beautiful view. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. The staff's communication and effort stood out.

Great location for couples, amazing views

The lake view room was unreal, really amazing, especially at sunset. The bartender went out of his way to mix a perfect Negroni for us, even though it wasn't on the menu.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but the quality matched the price.

The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety of delicious options, made my mornings good. The spacious rooms provided a lovely retreat during the snowstorm, and the view of the lake really enhanced the experience.

The rooms were heated too much for my taste.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful breakfast, and we enjoyed an excellent buffet that provided the energy we needed after a long day of hiking.

Nothing to complain about.

The place was modern, with very attentive staff, especially the lovely cheerful receptionist. We enjoyed the extensive breakfast that included breads and bangers. - the location was central, just a short walk to the most wonderful lake in Iceland. - We were able to easily visit Krafla, which is at a moderate distance from the hotel.
